Verkehrschaos macht die Menschen marode

Dear EU Commissioner,

According to the costumer service employee of Lufthansa in Riga 1/3 of the luggage of Lufthansa - Frankfurt Airport are now somewhere lost.

When 1/3 of all the baggage checked in during at LH-FRA are lost somewhere what to do?
- Who is the stupid* managing it!?
(*excuse me the term "stupid" but unfortunately you may agree there is no better)

Follows an excellent post at the getsatisfaction/lufthansa.com

May one ask what the *fantastically expensive* "airport taxes" are doing? I paid 380 euros for my ticket but with 280 euros of "taxes" added. May one ask what these "taxes" are, when Dubai, for example, has 0 taxes?

Is this not in fact a disguised freeload for the airlines and has nothing to do with enabling the airports to have necessary manpower and equipment to deal with circumstances, it is purely a grab? Surely then the obvious would be for the taxes to be reimbursed to aggrieved passengers as they have clearly not been used for their purported purposes?
