Longing for humans

The New York section of our two-part transatlantic sale Handpicked: 100 Artists Selected by the Saatchi Gallery will be offered on March 22. Continuing Saatchi Gallery’s tradition of focusing on fresh talent who have now become household names — among them Bruce Nauman and Tracey Emin — the auction will present 50 works by emerging artists from around the globe. The sale offers an opportunity to acquire cutting-edge works from a preeminent gallery with estimates starting only at $1,200. Proceeds from the auctions at Christie’s will support the gallery’s free admission policy and education program.
